German Economic Team participates at ECFR conference on climate and energy policy in the Western Balkans

On February 1st, the German Economic Team (GET) took part in a discussion organised by the European Council on Foreign Relations (ECFR) at the German Bundestag. The topic of the conference was the status and prospects for the implementation of the “Green Agenda for the Western Balkans”, which was adopted by the six countries of the Western Balkans region (WB6) at the Sofia Summit in 2020. The main objective of the “Green Agenda” is to achieve complete CO2 neutrality in the region by 2050, and the German Economic Team is supporting the WB6 countries in this endeavour.

Resilience and economic growth: Reform agenda for Moldova

For the upcoming “Moldova Support Platform” ministerial conference on 17th October in Chişinău with the foreign ministers of Germany, France and Romania, Berlin Economics, via the “German Economic Team” project, identified -on request by the Moldovan government- reform options and measures having the potential to make the Moldovan economy more resilient and growth-oriented in the medium term.

GET participates at the Economic Forum Karpacz (PL)

The German Economic Team participated in a panel dedicated to the reconstruction of Ukraine at the Economic Forum in Karpacz (September 5th to 7th, 2023). The Forum has been gathering politicians, economists and representatives from business, academia and media since 1992 and is one of the most important events of its kind in Central and Eastern Europe.
