Robert Kirchner

Deputy Team Leader

Robert Kirchner is Deputy Head of the High-Level Government Consultancy project with the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWi), which covers Belarus, Georgia, Moldova, Ukraine and Uzbekistan.

Robert Kirchner graduated in economics from the University of Potsdam and Warwick Business School and worked as a research assistant at the University of Potsdam. His research and consulting focus is on macroeconomics and the financial sector, with a particular focus on transition countries.

Mr Kirchner is also involved in numerous economic policy advisory projects in the countries of the EU’s Eastern Partnership, the South Caucasus and Central Asia.
