On 4 May, an expert panel took place online on the subject “Perspectives for economic relations between the association countries and the EU”. It was the third workshop within the LibMod project “Eastern Partnership 2.0”. Experts from the three countries (Ukraine, Georgia and Moldova) presented their proposals for action to decision-makers in Berlin and in Brussels.
Ricardo Giucci, Head of the German Economic Team, emphasized the necessity of reviewing the long-term EU goals towards the Eastern partners in view of the Corona crisis. However, he said that such a review could not be carried out at present, as a longer period would by necessary for this.
